Another Award for Buster

Before last night's game, Buster Posey and Miguel Cabrera received their respective leagues Hank Aaron Awards. The Hank Aaron Award is given annually to each leagues best hitter. Posey became the second Giant player to win the honor, Barry Bonds won it three times (2001, 2002, 2004).

In coming back from last year's devastating injury, Posey's numbers exceeded everybody expectations and hopes. He led the league in hitting, surpassed 100 rbi and hit 23 homeruns. While Miguel Cabrera's triple crown season was amazing, I would argue that Posey's season was even more impressive when you factor in the position that he played. Buster had an amazing season and it will soon be capped by a world series trophy for the Giants and his first MVP award.
